The Montessori Method
Developed by Maria Montessori, the Montessori approach to education is intended to allow children to engage with educational materials and concepts on their own time, providing the opportunity to fully master a skill before moving on.
Our Montessori school provides a carefully planned stimulating environment that plants the seed of education in even the youngest learner.
Age-appropriate materials are made available for children to fully engage with, and a child is allowed to repeat an activity or concept as many times as they wish so that true mastery can be achieved. We do not rush children through rote memorization or a series of milestones; instead, we meet each child where they’re at and help them find a way to understand the necessary concepts.

At Children’s Center of Monrovia, we have three classroom levels based on age, providing exceptional age-appropriate activities and learning experiences all day long.
In our Infant Room, children are given easy access to a teacher who carefully observes and interacts with them all day. Parents receive a daily report of their child’s activities and milestones, and we encourage feedback on what your child is learning and doing at home.
Our Toddler Room offers both individual and small group learning experiences. Children are introduced to basic educational concepts, and there is a big focus on fostering each child’s social and emotional development.
The Preschool Classroom allows older children the freedom to explore and play in a manner that’s meant to prepare them for full-time schooling. Creative play, songs, stories, and more are part of the daily routine, leaving each child happy and fulfilled.
