The Montessori Method
The Montessori Method of education was developed by Maria Montessori over 100 years ago. It is based on the belief that from birth, children have a natural aptitude to explore the world and learn about it.
Unlike traditional schooling systems, Montessori schools do not use group milestones, bad grades, or strict memorization regimens. Instead, this program seeks to allow children to explore their own interests on their own timeline.
When the child is able to learn at their own rate, they can repeat a task until it is effectively mastered, without the pressure of the rest of the class to move on. When they're ready to learn more advanced skills and activities, no one will hold them back.
